5.If I Don't Have A Drawing?

Here at Superior Blade & Grinding Services we have an on-hand drawing department that will gladly assist you with a drawing however this will take longer on the quotation process.

6.How To Speed Up The Quotation Process?

Provide us with a detailed / accurate drawing of the blade along with (Length * Width *Thickness) and if any slots holes are in blade please add as this is very important information needed to quote

7.What Is Your Turn Around For Sharpening?

At our standard rates it takes less than 5 days. If you need an emergency sharpening or grinding service please contact us kingruizhao..........com or call us +86 769 82663318 to learn KINGRUI special rates.

8.How Long Does It Take To Manufacture A Machine Knife To Custom Specification?

Depending on the material and finishing being used usual manufacturing time on custom drawing are 4 up to 8 weeks. If you would like us to stock these special knives for you please contact us to discuss your requirements.

9.The Machine Knife Magnetizes Light Sheared Strips. How To Overcome This Problem?

Send the knife to KINGRUI and our specialists will demagnetize it. To eliminate this adhering problem in future our masters will de-mag your knives every time after manufacturing or sharpening. We suggest always accurately ground, demagnetizing, and removing grinding burr before installing any shear knives.

10.What Materials Are Used In Tungsten Carbide Binding Process?

The type of binder plays an important role in the durability of the carbide. Cobalt was the first material used as a binder because it is strong and dissolves tungsten carbide grains while forming a liquid phase with them. As the material cools the tungsten carbide precipitates back out forming a very tough and wear resistant material.

12.What Is Tungsten Carbide?

Tungsten is a very hard and dense metal, however, alone tungsten is vulnerable to scratches and damages. It gains its extreme hardness by being combined with a carbon alloy, transforming it into tungsten carbide, with hardness around 9 on the Moh’s hardness scale.

13.Could The Knife Finishing Reduce Paper Dust?

Yes, finishing the cutting edge of either straight or circular knives considerably reduces dust. Call us at +86 769 82663318 and KINGRUI specialists will discuss your machine state and apply a particular to your requirements knife finishing.

14.How To Charge The Time Required Between Machine Knives Sharpening?

As all machine knives and blades wear out it is difficult to give a unique answer. Please call +86 769 82663318 to assess your cutting requirements and get blade material recommendations.

15.What Is The Best Grade For Cutting Stainless Steel?

The best performance of metal cutting blades is achieved by using optimal raw materials and correct hardness for various applications. For instance, to reduce the shear blades chipping it is recommended to hardened blades for cutting stainless steel to 55/56 Rockwell while have them hardened and tempered to 57/58 Rockwell for blades cutting carbon steel (*for thin sheets of steel less than 6mm). This hardness reduction is caused by a higher tensile strength of steel. However, this adjustment shortens periods between blades re grind and reduces abrasion.

16.What Steel Grades Do You Use To Manufacture Industrial Blades?

We are using several Steel Grades that suit to various applications. Having too many inquiries of how to choose a right steel for any particular use we have created a special page with our main steels description.
